Axel Marx is deputy-director of the Leuven Centre for Global Governance Studies, University of Leuven. His research focuses on global governance, sustainability standards, labour rights, trade governance and comparative case methods. Publications have appeared inter alia in ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, European Political Science Review, Regulation and Governance, Political Research Quarterly, Journal of World Trade, International Journal of Human Rights, Globalizations and Sociological Methodology. He recently co-edited books on Global Governance of Labor Rights and Global Governance Through Trade (both published by Edward Elgar) and special issues for Global Policy and International Labour Review.
