Oliver Hidalgo is a senior lecturer at the department of politics, University of Münster, and professor of Political Science at the University of Regensburg. From 2015 until 2017 he was visiting professor of political theory in Münster. His main research topics are the history of political thought, democratic theory, politics and religion, and international political theory. Oliver’s recent publications include the monography Politische Theologie (2018) and the edition of a special issue concerning religion and right-wing populism in the Journal for Religion, Society, and Politics (2018).
