Sophie Lecheler is professor of Political Communication at the Department of Communication, University of Vienna (Austria), where she leads the Political Communication Research Group. Her research interests include political news framing, experimental research methods, digitalization in journalism, and emotions. Her research has been published in numerous international journals, such as Political Communication, Communication Research, Journal of Communication, Communication Monographs, Journalism Studies and New Media & Society.
